Perfect for the Bendigo business traveller

We have had a wonderful range of guests stay at our Bendigo accommodation. Guests have stayed for many events such as the Sheep and Wool Show, Gymnastics Championships, Discovery Centre, The Capital Theatre shows, Mothers Club and family reunions, kids rugby tournament. The chooks have arrived!

Eight very cute, fluffy and feathery chickens have arrived in the Chook Mahal at Stay Social.  Chooks are wonderfully social and interactive animals and form part of the system to recycle guest food scraps and in return, in a few months time, provide fresh eggs. Ben and Toby at Stay Social

Meet Ben and his ever faithful dog Toby. Ben Winspear is a Bendigo based artist who works in oil, watercolour and more recently sculpture. He has been painting professionally for over ten years and has held several successful solo exhibitions. The landscape of central Victoria is a big subject matter for Ben.  Often Ben and Toby are outside with an easel capturing it's light and shadows. Meet the Corrs

Stay Social was brought into being by two key players of Bendigo’s remarkable social entrepreneurial scene, Chris and Karen Corr. Pictured here with their two boys Aidan and Jeremy, while on a caravan holiday around Australia. This year Karen has been researching changemaking projects around Australia for her book Being a Changemaker. Bendigo Art

We are in love with Central Victoria & we want you to fall for Bendigo too. In each of the rooms at Stay Social we feature Bendigo Art. In guest room one we have art work by local artist Deanna Neville of Walmer. Her photos were part of her recent exhibition called “Ingredients for a Road Trip.” We thought these photos suited perfectly our farmhouse style wooden door bedhead.
